Becoming an Ecumenical Catholic

Step 1: Learn About Catholicism

One of the best ways you can learn about the Catholic Faith is to visit our Parish and let us know that you are interested in learning more about the Faith as celebrated in the Ecumenical Catholic Church+USA.

Step 2: Membership in this Church

The necessary and sufficient condition for membership in this church is to believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and to be configured to the Son of God, Jesus Christ, through the Sacrament of Baptism.

Any Baptized Christian is welcomed to membership in this church and invited to full participation in the sacraments, ministry, and polity of the church.

Reception into membership in the church is through the local congregation or, in its place, through a clergyperson of the church.

Step 3: Sacraments of Christian Initiation

If you have not been baptized, the Christian initiation process prepares you to become a Catholic Christian by celebrating in the Sacraments of Christian Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Communion (Eucharist).

If you have been baptized in another Christian tradition, only the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist are required to enter into full communion with Ecumenical Catholic Church+USA and the Catholic Faith Tradition.

For more information about becoming member this Church, please contact our Parish Office to arrange an appointment with one of our priests.
